Biography
Antoine Josse is a French visual artist born in 1970 in Brittany. His artistic universe, deeply dreamlike, combines painting and sculpture to evoke narratives suspended between sky and earth. His works, inhabited by miniature figures in vast, poetic landscapes, reflect a quest for lightness and escape. Using mixed media techniques, he creates unique atmospheres where tumultuous skies and evocative colors invite reverie. Josse views his creations as story fragments, leaving it to the viewer to complete them with their imagination.
For nearly two decades, his works have been exhibited internationally, notably in France, the UK, Switzerland, Chile, Luxembourg, and the USA. He has participated in solo and group exhibitions in galleries such as Galerie L'Oeil du Prince in Biarritz, Galerie Claudine Legrand in Paris, and Byard Art Gallery in Cambridge. His works are also featured in contemporary art fairs like the Affordable Art Fair in London and New York.
