(Cast bronze) Child with balloon dog, from the "Gráffiti" collection.

Miguel Guía, by this sculpture, proposes to imitate the silhouette of a child in graffiti style, alike drawings on a walls. We can also see a bright metallic blue blue nickel balloon in the shape of a dog.

The artist tries to capture the urban art style, that Banksy already transmits, and to transfer it into a three-dimensional representation, as seen in the work of the British artist "Girl with Balloon". Guía, inspired by Banksys’ previous work "El niño y el globo", adds the metallic effect that we can appreciate, for example, in the play "balloon dog" by the American artist Jeff Koons, icon of the living artists of "Pop Art", whom this Madrid artist admires. He proposes this fusion of styles, through sculpture, with his own interpretation of the dog, making it his own through the use of his own style.

This sculpture gets us into a universe of urban art, emerging in the streets, which always seeks to surprise, to denounce the current and universal issues through Street art.
