Biographie
Alexander Daniloff est un artiste et illustrateur russe né en 1963.
"Pour moi, l'art est un jeu, un spectacle, où je suis acteur, metteur en scène, scénographe. Les voyages dans les temps réels ou mythologiques et les changements de décorations et de costumes m'aident à créer une sorte de théâtralisation comme une manière de penser artistique, ce qui me permet d'atteindre en peinture un effet particulier qui montre l'enjouement et le drame de la vie. Ma position philosophique dans l'art est d'être comme un liquide qui peut prendre n'importe quelle forme, sans perte de qualité. "
Après avoir terminé ses études à l'école de théâtre de Niznij Novgorod (Russie) en 1990, il entra immédiatement dans la vie artistique et obtint un succès remarquable depuis ses premières expositions en Russie et à l'étranger. De 1987 à 2000, il participe à de nombreuses expositions individuelles et collectives à Nijni Novgorod, Moscou, Norilsk (Russie); Amsterdam, Venlo, Horst, Heusden (Pays-Bas); Barcelone, Espagne); Helsinki, Finlande); à San Francisco et à Los Angeles (États-Unis). Depuis 1994, il collabore avec la galerie néerlandaise Irok.
En 2000, il s'installe en Italie où il vit et travaille en tant qu'artiste professionnel.
Pendant 4 ans, il a collaboré comme illustrateur avec le City Theatre de Rovigo pour créer des illustrations pour des affiches.
En Italie, Alexander a peint les standards pour les Jeux de Chevaliers de Sulmona en 2009; Massa Marittima, San Giovanni d'Asso, Gualdo Tadino en 2010, Lucca et Castel Madama en 2011. Il a créé trois ponts du Tarot publiés en 2012 et 2014 et illustré quelques livres.
Depuis 2000, il a participé à de nombreuses expositions individuelles et collectives en Italie (Rome, Milan, Turin, Bologne, Florence, Lucques, Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Arezzo, Padoue, Rovigo, Ferrare, Vérone, Mantoue, Castelfranco Veneto, Castelfranco Emilia , Dobbiaco, Pieve de Cadore, Fiuggi, Arcevia, Bari, Augusta, Roccamonfina, Palerme); aux Pays-Bas (Horst, Panningen) dans la galerie "Irok"; en Hongrie (Budapest) au Centre culturel russe; en Autriche (Vienne) au Centre russe des sciences et de la culture et Dorotheum Auction House.
