Sylvie de la Happy Funky Family

France • 1968

Biography

After studying at a Parisian art school (ESAM) and a few years as a graphic designer in studios and com agencies, Sylvie launched herself as a freelance illustrator.

She loves to explore very different worlds by working for publishing, the press or communication...

His favorite quote comes from Confucius when he said: "choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life"

Visual artist, author, illustrator and graphic designer, Sylvie loves above all to play with images and words, shapes and colors. She always tries to tell a unique and tailor-made story, with a touch of humor and fantasy.

She mainly works with Adobe software on a graphics tablet. For some time, she has resumed her brushes for works on personal canvases and is always in search of new forms of expression.

The colors of his illustrations snap and his line is humorous and tender at the same time. His works are inspired by the world of comics and lack neither fantasy nor poetry.

We love his assumed French side with an aesthetic that sometimes borders on caricature!
