Rupprecht Geiger (1908–2009) was a German painter and sculptor. He was born on January 26, 1908 in Munich and died on December 6, 2009 in Munich. Geiger belonged to the artist group "ZEN 49" and was known for his abstract, colorful works. His work spanned paintings, sculptures and installations, and he was particularly notable for his use of bright colors and geometric shapes.
