Biography
I invite you in my road movie to discover my urban mazes, my favorites and these stolen snapshots immortalized in Polaroid. Why am I painting? Quite simply because I love being in front of my canvas. My technique? My paintings are done in oil and with a knife, mostly "alla prima" which allows me to work spontaneously. My landscapes? They are: 1 / urban: go where the eye has never been but where the first glance sends you, leave the flow at the crossroads, stroll a little, a lot, not at all, suddenly cross to dive in the maze of alleys… 2 / intimate: to freeze on the canvas a moment of intimacy, one of those fleeting moments on which the impatient passer-by is too quickly deadlocked, looks that meet, avoid each other…, these moments when destinies are played out and decided in an aside in front of an impassive audience.
