Chloé Sontrop is a French artist, born in 1989 in Auxerre. She moved to Marcq en Baroeul, in the North of France.

She graduated in sculpting from the St Luc Institute in Tournai, Chloé expresses her deepest thoughts and highlights themes like childhood, exoticism and travel. Through her sculptures, created in terracotta and wood, she has managed to achieve an expertis on shapes. Every single emotions helps her creation.

Fascinated by diversity, morphology and expressions, she tries to provide an incredible feeling of life through materials. It's an infinite learning process as her aim is not to copy the reality but analyze it. Through sculpting, she is able to build on this aspect.

She received several awards for her work, just like the public prize in sculpting at the Européen d'Art Contemporain Fair in Saint-Brisson-sur-Loire, in 2016.
