Vittorio Menditto is a young man who is tetraplegic due to a motorbike accident in 2006. While in hospital at Montecatone (Imola), he met Vincenzo Gualtieri, who perceived great potential in him and wanted to experiment with the use of a helmet for painting. Thanks to this aid, he started to create his first works, which mostly represented copied landscapes; this phase served above all to practise this new reality of his.
Over the years he experimented with different techniques, oil, acrylics, tempera, but after several elaborations he reached his own style and his main artistic expression to convey his being and his feelings and emotions. Now the technique he prefers is oil, combined with the use of acrylic pastes for the material effects with which he expresses himself for his depictions
