Catherine Bailey

This is the 24th year that she proceed along an exploration of volumes. This path has conduced her towards a new kind of writing, which is sober, but filled with emotions.

After having tryed different materials she has decided to concentrate on metal which questions her, opposing resistances and constraints.

She plays with this movement to disclose their contrasts with her child soul.

She has chosen to explore childhood for its capacity to reach the universal emotion hidden in everybody; the other subject's aim is to evoke the human tenderness in the seized moment, keeping an elegant appearance as a result of metal's complicity and Men's simplicity, hoping and striving towards the best of themselves.
