Daniel Mangin

"At the frontiers of abstraction, these paintings explore with humor and lucidity human material, physical and social, as well as its productions, fortuitous or deliberate." Born in 1957, Daniel Mangin tried his hand at several forms of artistic expression (drawing, cinema, writing, music) before settling on painting, with a few breakthroughs towards related disciplines: sculpture, collage, engraving ... Today hui, he works as an employee in a social protection scheme and exercises his vocation as an artist in parallel Daniel Mangin's approach starts from a need to express through plastic an obsessive and yet unspeakable message. After two years of training, he began the classical course of the painter: salons then galleries. The thirst to explore other horizons leads him to travel and exhibit abroad: Switzerland, Belgium, Great Britain, Italy, United States, Japan… This experience shows him the different degrees of openness to art of people encountered in other latitudes and civilizations. This is how he chooses to make his work known via the internet, so as to disseminate his work as widely as possible and without constraint.
