

Biography
Born in Bamako in 1990, a fan of recovery and recycling, Dramane Toloba uses a combination of fabrics, paints, papers and paper clips in his creations. Guided by an ecological spirit, his choice of materials is the product of the environment of Bamako, very cluttered with various objects. It thus gives a second life to found objects. Having a strong taste for reconversion. He uses everything he finds, thus bearing witness to our consumer society, widespread waste and overconsumption.
The lamp-headed characters omnipresent in his creations are a call to this part of innate light in every human. The harmony of colors he uses allows us to see beyond what is available to us. Dramane is a committed artist who deals with climate change, the evolution of technology and the place of man in this world, the suffering of women in our societies and bad governance.
