He began working in film and theater as an actor in the second half of the 1960s, also appearing in films filmed by his brother Gianni. He almost always used the pseudonym Joseph Logan. He has worked with many directors, including Giuliano Montaldo, Mino Guerrini and Massimo Pupillo who have worked with Alessandro Haber, Federico Pietrabruna and Marina Fiorentini. In the late 1970s, he began attending Mario Schifano's studio, giving LA an exchange of ideas with other members of the "Roman School in Piazza del Popolo." He befriends Tano Festa, Franco Angeli and Renato Mambor. The friendship with Schifano is sealed by an exchange of portraits between him and The Child Prodigy. In 1993, he became the protagonist with Emilio Leofreddi and Massimo Liberti of a provocative exhibition entitled "CONTACT" which features characters such as Bernardo Bertolucci, Carlo Lizzani, Dario Argento and many others. In 2001, Laura Cherubini performed her solo at the Artcurial in Monte Carlo entitled "EX" with a text from the catalog of Carlo Ripa Di Meana, a series of works presenting the anticipation of the use of the computer for interact with the painting, the subjects represent images of the great masters of the past revisited and modified with industrial colors and with the application of neon inserts, the use of the light source also recalls the anticipatory LED insert that he had used in 1978 for the realization of the great self-propelled sculpture "Mario Schifano from 1 to 10". They wrote: Achille Bonito Oliva, Laura Cherubini, Duccio Trombadori, Carlo Ripa Di Meana, Giulio Carlo Argan, Gillo Dorfles, Maurizio Sciaccaluga, Luca Béatrice, Stefania Severi, Luciano Caramel, Mario De Candia, Arturo Carlo Quintavalle, Paolo Balmas, Franco Simongini, Alessandro Masi, Arianna Di Genova, Giuseppe Bertolucci, Daniela Lancioni, Béatrice Buscaroli, Gabriele Simongini, Elisabetta Rota. Among the most recent exhibitions, the one that took place in 2014 and entitled "Rascal" at the MUSA (salt museum) in Cervia, organized by Gianluca Re; and the one presented in 2017 at the Galleria Core in Rome entitled BHM where he exhibited alongside Keith Haring and Paolo Buggiani with texts in the catalog of Duccio Trombadori, Giancarlo Carpi, Raffaele Soligo, Maurizio Sciaccaluga, Steven L. Kaplan.
