Biography

Limited edition, light box.

Falcone is a self-taught artist and designer with deep roots in art history.

His grandfather's artistic foundation, with his passion for geometric and kinetic works, was his childhood playground. The unstructured paintings of Carmelo Arden Quin intrigued him, and he played with the reliefs of Agam and Soto. Circles and squares, supported to infinity by shape and color, lead him to go further, to multiply the image to infinity.

He positions his creations between experience and contemplative work. The artist chooses LEDs, neon, fiber optics and mirrors to express himself. Isn't art a form of illusion? So why not an optical illusion? With these materials, his works are experienced live by spectators. He plays with space, between plays of light and effects of infinity. The spectator sees his reflection projected into an abyss of luminous points. In his own way, Falcone fits directly into the tradition of kinetic artists.
