Biography
Albert Pepermans was born in 1947 in Krotenberg, Belgium. He lives in Brussels.
He is known for his colorful paintings that are reminiscent of Pop art and the Dada movement. His work involves the observer in a joyful and colorful world.
Most of his pieces belong to an organised collection around a subject or technique.
Albert Pepermans only uses paper, ink and paint, and likes to combine concrete forms and abstract elements.
In the early of the 90s, he worked with the Flemish writer Hugo Claus in three projects. The main goal of this work was to combine the work of Pepermans and the poetry of Claus. Their work has been part of several exhibitions.
