‘The Distance Between Us’ of Jan Locus starts from two audio cassettes, which he received from a Moroccan family in Molenbeek. The intense film echoes the mourning of a mother who stayed behind in Morocco and other messages with grey images of Brussels. Black and White photos also show images of Casablanca.

On the second floor Albert Pepermans shows his unorthodox use of photography: snapshots of his often distant travels in the ‘Journal Brut’ series and drawings photographed in a passport photo booth in the ‘Sans Papier’ series.
