Mauro Corda was born in Lourdes in 1960
He studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Reims, Atelier Charles Auffret (1976-1979) and at the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris, Atelier Jean Cardot (1981-1985).
Between 1985-1987 Mauro Corda was awarded the Scholarship of the Casa Velasquez, Madrid, Spain. In 2010 he became Vice-Président of the Association Taylor and Knight of the French Order of Arts and Letters.
