Biography
Claudette Allosio plays the card of figuration and abstraction to better free herself and seek out new writing, towards letting go of observed reality.
She gives a preponderant place to color, it is her inexhaustible pillar that she works mainly in dry pastel.
“It's a very tactile, sensual medium. The variety and richness of the colors, their immediacy allow me to satisfy my ardor as a colorist. Pastel offers as many material renderings as transparencies."
