Gamze Seckin

Gamze is a self-taught Turkish-American artist living in Seattle. Born in Turkey in 1969, Gamze moved to the US as a Fulbright Scholar and completed her PhD in Computer Engineering in Arizona. She spent more than 30 years working in the technology industry. While working full time and raising two kids, she found peace and joy in playing with colors. Gamze considers herself a modern figurative expressionist trying to capture universal thoughts and feelings in her simple women portraits. Gamze's works have been exhibited in Seattle, New York, Paris, Madrid, Milan and Istanbul.
