The new exhibition "You art here" is the meeting point of two artists with a unique style: Xavi Garcia and Anne Mondy.

He is one of the Spanish masters of the moment. Xavi Garcia has participated in several major exhibitions around the world (Rome, New York, Cairo, London, Hong Kong...).
Pop Art is preponderant in Xavi Garcia's creations. His "Iconos" series uses pop icons such as Marilyne Monroe, James Dean and Madonna in an anachronistic way. Projected into the 21st century, they find themselves immersed in the pop and urban culture that they themselves helped to create.
Garcia's work is above all marked by the beginnings of Urban Arts, by the street and its codes. As a true analysis of contemporary society, the figures in the series entitled "Citizens" confront us with our own reflection. They show us to what extent the media, social networks and advertising affect our society, influence us and shape us individually. Like an introspection, a look inside oneself, the artist confronts us with the solitary experience of the individual and his way of life. A solitude treated by the absence of colour around the central figures.
Xavi Garcia explores a multiplicity of artistic techniques. His work is the result of a contemporary approach through a purely classical creative process.

In a word, Anne Mondy is an artist who rocks. Her concept of "Papertorn", or torn paper, gives her a strong artistic singularity.
This singularity was built around the family's artistic DNA. First of all, with his father, Pierre Mondy, a man of the theatre and actor, a face of French cinema. He passed on to her his love for popular art and the taste for work well done. Then with his mother, Annie, a model in the 1960s and a visual artist, who inspired him in his art, both in the creative process and in the subjects she deals with today.
The notion of transmission is part of her approach as an artist. She collaborates with large groups such as Lamborghini and Franck Provost. For the exhibition "You art here", Anne presents two artistic collaborations with the metal sculptor Dohk metal art. Influenced by the pop culture of the 60's to 80's, Anne Mondy's works are part of a movement inherited from the New Realism and the technicality of French poster artists like Jacques Villeglé.
For Anne, the art of collage is the medium that allows her to create with sincerity, sensitivity but also a lot of instinct. It is in an almost liberating gesture that she tears the paper.
