The exhibition is on view at Château Montfin, 10 rue du Rec de l’Aire, 11440 Peyriac-de-Mer, from October 13th to December 13th, Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

A few words about the artist:
Jean-Michel Poirot is an artist from the Aude region who creates paintings where reality and imagination intertwine to challenge our perception of the world.

For him, painting cannot simply be a decorative object or a form of visual entertainment. “I consider painting to be one of the essential mediums of engagement,” he affirms with conviction. It is a space of freedom, a place for protest where a unique, sometimes unsettling but always sincere, perspective on the world around us is expressed. Through his works, Jean-Michel Poirot asserts the political and social dimension of art, its power to question and transform.
