Bronze Sculpture for Sale
Polly Ngale (Ngala, Ngal,...) lives in Utopia, (North East of Alice Springs). She was born in the 1930s, and is the sister of Kathleen Ngale and Angeline Pwerle Ngale. The paints the Blush Plum Dreaming with small colored dots, a technique familiar tot he artists of the Camel Camp.
The variating rhythms of her dots reveal the structure of the landscape and evoke at the same time the presence of the Ancestors and their actions. More than a real landscape, it shows traces of the Dreaming, a sacred dimension for the Aborigines.
