Agnès Urbain

Agnès Urbain, is a Belgian sculptor born in 1966 in Namur. It was in Liège in Belgium that Agnes began her artistic training at the Académie des Beaux Arts. Since 1997, she has participated in numerous exhibitions in Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Monaco. The artist lives and works today at L'Atelier Royonner in the town of Roy in Belgium.

Agnès Urbain has always had in her mind the desire to give an emotional presence to her bronze sculptures. His sculptures bear witness to identity, sometimes to condition and in other cases to human intimacy.

Agnès Urbain seeks, studies and explores the previous questions by trying to translate them into the material that she models through the representation of the body and by being inspired by the figure, the face of the man and that of the woman. as well as their universal body to body, and this bond which unites them one to the other.
