Biography
María José Durán (Santiago, Chile 1982).
María José investigates the relationship between Nature's phenomena and the cyclical nature of human emotions. Through exploring different organic pigments and materials on fabric, she sews and embroiders textile landscapes of spiritual and poetic content, evoking material fragile qualities as if reflecting on Nature's current stage of deterioration.
