Sanja Babeli

I am a fashion and costume designer and a photographer based in Zagreb, Croatia. Because of my day to day job I've stopped painting for a few years, I just didn't have time. At the beginning of 2020 I've started to draw on my iPad. Then COVID-19 pandemic happened, a few days later an earthquake hit Zagreb. It was a very stressful time for me, so I began drawing all the time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

It was my escape, it was and it is my therapy. My art is what I feel, the way I see the world, the way I see injustice, the way I see human rights and the way I see psychological pain. I like to explore deepest feelings that people have and pour it into my artwork.
