Photographer and author, Céline Ravier has traveled the world mainly on foot for the past twenty years. By combining documentary and artistic photography, she seeks to highlight man in his geographical, social or cultural environment.
His photos and reports are published in the magazine press (Grands Reportages, Trek Magazine, Revue Bouts du Monde…) and regularly presented in festivals and galleries in France and abroad (Nuits Photographiques de Pierrevert, Essaouira (Morocco) and Selma (USA), Photo Marseille, Le Grand Bivouac in Albertville…)
From 2016 to 2018, she joined the collective of photojournalists "Vies de Quetzal" which gives voice to minority voices through photoreports, and contributes to the edition of the annual review. In 2017, his photos of the Sultanate of Oman were published in the 2nd edition of the book "Les Plus Beaux Treks du Monde" published by Glénat.
A graduate of the School of Journalism and Communication of Aix-Marseille (EJCAM), she published in 2019 "[Auto] Photographic Edition, investigation of a mutation" with Arnaud Bizalion Éditeur editions. Presented at the Rencontres d'Arles, his book explores the transformations of the photographic publishing market in France in connection with the appearance of new digital editorial technologies at the service of photographers.
