Mainka

After studying in Germany, Mainka settled in France in the 1970s, where she worked with Aline Russ and Jean-Pierre Vincenti. Since a training at Aix-en-Provence’s Fine Arts School, she has lived and worked in Provence. She regularly exhibits in Southern France, as well asin Germany. She uses oil as well as acrylic and makes a lot of her colours from pigments herself, pigments regularly used pure on the canvas before drying. She likes playing with materials, sand, glues, pigments, to give more texture to her canvasses. Leave her mark in the material. Express her emotions of the moment.
