Michel Tong was born in 1965 in Hong Kong. At 5 years old he went to Paris with his family. Since his chilhood, he was attracted by painting and he started to learn art in 1989. Then he studied impressionnism, figurative art and portrait with a Chinese artist.
His art, suffused with an asian and remote imaginary and european culture, combine the yin and yang philosophy througout landscapes to the impresionnist palette. His work, between abstraction and figuration, plays with color, material and light.
