Jessica Pliez is a visual artist born in Montreuil in 1984. She uses various mediums to give life to fantastic characters. His main techniques are engraving, painting and photography. Jessica's work revolves around (re) birth. She shapes creatures, imaginary portraits to bring them to life. An assembly of multiple bodies, of organic fragments which intermingle and collide with a gouge and a ballpoint pen. A quest for resuscitation or simply giving life to different beings. A way of putting her finger on the difference, of living species of course, she creates a sort of deviant bestiary, but also the difference in itself that she invites to accept and see beyond. It is a work where poetry has an important place, as well as strangeness while lightness. An invitation to approach you to see more closely these strange beings who are ultimately beautiful and endearing. She sows her characters in the streets of Paris. This part of street art in his work allows him to escape and share his world with as many people as possible. It shows strange animals that roam alongside you whispering stories to you.
