Pierre Le Preux

Pierre Le Preux is a professional painter. His studio is located in the city of Belfort, which is situated in the East of France, near to Alsace.

Since 1971, his exhibitions have been shown in France and Europe, both at art galleries and art shows. His work is valued in the official art guide Akoun.

His artistic approach, which began several decades ago, is based on the philosophy of "a long walk", the transition from darkness to light, birth, mountain pass, crossing from a side to another, from life to death, from the inert to the living… this concept of "passage" is permanent throughout all his work.

The main body of his work is colored, positive, dynamic, often non-figurative, and available in a range of sizes. Pierre Le Preux's paintings are an expression of freedom.
