Biography

It was after meeting Camille Claudel's work at the Château de Lavardens, some fifteen years ago, coupled with a good anatomical knowledge through her sports studies (STAPS master's degree), that Anne-Laure started quite naturally in the practice of modeling. Quickly propelled to her teaching in a Toulouse workshop. She now devotes herself fully to working the land, for which the theme of childhood is her main source of inspiration. The whims of children, youthful optimism, naive and spontaneous expressions and mimicry represent a real treasure hunt. Plunging back into her childhood, she remembers those little things that seem insignificant but which build, such as school and the moments that can be associated with it, holidays, colors, smells ... Anne-Laure observes and searches to model "boils" in the daily life that has been his, which can evoke in each of us a memory of our own childhood. Remembering where we come from and the child we were to better understand who we are is the introspective approach that nourishes his work.
