Siméon Colin

Simeon Colin is a French artist born in 1942 in the Vosges.

After three years studying Fine Arts in Nancy, he graduated from the National Superior School of Decorative Arts of Paris in 1967 and started working, in the same institution, as professor of drawing from 1970 to 2007. He worked as professor, as well at the Academy Charpentier and Camondo in the 90s.

He then started a career as designer (outdoor furniture, children's furniture, toys ...), interior designer and muralist. He created the Atelier Colin, with his wife Fabienne Colin, who created and designed numerous prestigious ceiling and mural paintings.

Once he became more mature, Simeon Colin started focusing again on its original vocation, drawing, working in some of his personal obsessions: trees, women and portraits.

Simeon Colin regularly exhibits his work in France, as well as in China, Shanghai and Beijing.
