Born on the shores of the Mediterranean where she spent her entire childhood, Marie was sensitized from an early age by the beauty of places, colours and light.
She was passionate about the arts, including painting and literature for many years.
Later her professional life (bookseller) took her to the Alps where the discovery of grandiose panoramas created an emotional shock in her.
The watercolour is then obvious. Her investment in the local cultural life and the education of her children distanced her for some time from her creative passion.
A second emotional shock occurs when a new phase of his life brings him to the ocean shore where the particular light, the shades of tone and the incessant movement of the tides bring him back forcefully to the painting.
The acrylic then allows him to grasp these fragile moments, the changing colors, the fullness of the places.
These three founding periods are inscribed on his paintings, some imprints of serenity or fragility, others more dynamic.
