Pierre La Police

Coming from the underground graphic scene, Pierre la Police published his first drawings in the press in the early 90s before seeing his comics edited by Jean-Pierre Faur, then by Cornélius editions. Very quickly attracted by the animated image he produced in 2001 the series "Mini Pim Poum" for Canal + before revisiting some fundamental principles of religious education in "La Parole de Vie". At the same time, Pierre la Police is developing exhibition projects presented in the circuit of contemporary art galleries (Art Concept, Agnès b., Item, Kamel Mennour ...) where his work - an incomparable ode to idiocy and no -sense - naturally found its place. In April 2016 Le Lieu Unique / national scene of Nantes program "Groumf", the first personal exhibition of Pierre La Police in a French institution. A particularly noticed initiative, which will have allowed a large public to discover the transversality of its production, its art of deconstructing language and diverting the codes of popular culture.
