FOV

Born in 1972 in Carcassonne, FOV pursued an artistic path from her studies. After earning a bachelor's degree in visual arts, she turned to art history, deepening her understanding of the movements and visual languages that would later inform her own practice.

It was in 2018 that she decided to give free rein to her creativity. Her universe draws on the images and symbols that marked her childhood and adolescence: superheroes, comic book characters, everyday icons, brand logos, and even urban signage.

FOV creates a vibrant and playful world, where nostalgia interacts with popular culture and the aesthetics of Pop Art. Inspired also by the world of video games, she transforms these familiar references into a colorful and joyful language, where each work becomes a nod to collective memory.
