Benedicte Van der Maar

Bénédicte Van der Maar is a French documentary photographer and artist in Paris, influenced by humanist and contemporary photography. 
Economist by training, her photographic approach was first artistic with Fragile series on the status of women before becoming  documentary, as with her work Never Ending. She travels to bring back her photographic work : Himalaya, Pakistan, Nepal, Middle East,Kasakhstan, Colombia, Hait, she highlights the social and economic challenges. 
Her work has been present in French exhibitions since 2005, both solo and in groups.
