Biography

Catherine Reboul-Hector-Berlioz (1942-2010) is a French sculptor and painter. She works by herself monumental metal sculptures.

Heir of the famous BERLIOZ composer she donates her Berlioz collection to the Hector Berlioz Museum on March 2011.

She is a very talented sculptor and creates very powerful and big metal sculptures, they will be exhibited in the Gallery of Lise Cormery with the publication of a catalogue with texts from Ghislaine Ottenheimer and sculptor Véra Székely.

She belongs to the French Selection of Art Olympiads organized by Lise Cormery Gallery for the French Olympic Committee in 1991 and 1992 in Paris. It was following the famous 1988 Art Olympiads in Seoul with its sculpture and painting museums founded for the event in order to invite and show the art of major international artists of the century.
