Evelyne Barbier

Painting was obvious very early on. 

Evelyne Barbier, still a teenager, studied drawing and painting with Marcel DYF. After training in interior design at the art deco school in Paris, she moved to Los Angeles, where she trained in design and painting, at the California intitute of arts. 

She will be a designer for amusement parks (disney), then will work in the design and production of sets for the cinema (disney studio, paramount and universal studios). 

Back in France, she devoted herself entirely to painting. If the delicate and fragile lights of the landscapes of the Arcachon Basin and the Atlantic Ocean still nourish her work, she now works on the exploration of light and water, rivers and torrents... a long attentive look at nature, accompanying its luminous vibrations, its transparencies, and placing them as moments of meditation on his canvases, this is where his motivations and his happiness to paint live.
