Initiated to drawing in high school, then to plastic arts during her studies as a specialized educator, Maried was trained to set up and conduct artistic expression workshops. She also took courses at the Beaux Arts in Grenoble and in several artists' studios.

His artistic approach is based on techniques of pictorial explorations of surrealist painting, wishing to explore and take advantage of this endless world that is the imagination. The painting is then dreamlike, full of messages and hidden meanings, bringing to life the fruits of our fertile thoughts.

Maried tells stories of life, tribulations, human nature if there is one, and its complexity, through the individual history of each one, which takes place and interacts in the collective history.

Maried creates to express the human from different angles of view.

What fascinates her is the unconscious process and the mechanics of thought, which will contribute to the creation of the work. She begins either by writing words as they come, texts, or by the sketch which will gradually be enriched with a story and lead to a staging that she wishes to be aesthetic.

It is based in this construction on emotions, impressions felt or observed in the life stories of each other, and on what wants to release his unconscious, this ultimately gives a form of humanity to the created subject and a role to play as a theater character. It is then up to him to tell his story.

Trees are very present in Maried's creative work, in relief to take shape and life. They are vectors of expression, it is through them that she can tell. It is of the order of the intimate. The tree is an archetype, it belongs to the collective unconscious, and that is perhaps why its representation was imposed, it did not choose it.

It is the process of technical and human transformation, renewed each time, that motivates her.
