I did not go to art school, but I always loved my art classes and I learned a lot on my own.

I also chose the "arts plastiques" option to take the CRPE exam (concours de professeur des écoles). I have been a school teacher for 20 years and I love teaching art history and art practice... to my little second graders.

For 2 years, I benefited from Cécile Marical's classes at the Maison des Arts in Evreux.  She taught me different techniques: I was able to learn oil painting, washes, acrylics, Indian ink, collages, linocuts,... I worked a lot on shadows and lights, on live models, still lifes,... I was able to learn traditional techniques but Cecile also taught me to be inventive. And there, I discovered the abstract... This art touches me deeply. The emotion it gives me is really incredible.
