David Jackdaw

Born in 1991. David Jackdaw, after a master's degree in art at the Sorbonne and numerous exhibitions between Brittany and Paris, constantly talks about technology and its impact on the world. He is interested in social alternatives and the doors they open. He tries to remind us of the importance of a thoughtful look at the workings of our own society.

Through his creations - photos, sculptures, writing - he questions the mystery beyond appearances, and challenges us on the fragility and transience of our existences. Here precisely, his interest in urban exploration has led him to seek out unusual and forgotten places, to create with them and through them: this photo series thus opens onto rare and timeless places, it locates a breach in our tense spaces, it presents an ephemeral escape from our ultra-fast societies.
