1948: born in Heidenheim/Brenz.

1971-77: studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts Nuremberg with Prof. Günther Voglsamer.

Since 1974, exhibition participations.

1976: Special promotion in the sense of a master student with Prof. Günther Voglsamer.

Since 1977, solo exhibitions.

Since 1978, resident in Stuttgart.

1984: prize winner of the Kiel Art Weeks

1991-2005: studio and apartment in Stuttgart and Lodève/France.

1992-1998: Chairman of the Association of Visual Artists Württemberg e.V.Member of Künstlerbund Baden-Württemberg e.V.

Lives and works in Stuttgart.
