Akut

Born in 1977, Akut is a renowned street artist and photographer whose graffiti career began in the early 1990s. Unlike traditional graffiti tagging, he focused on painting photorealistic wall pieces. Partnering with Hera in 2004 as Herakut, they gained international recognition with exhibitions in London, Berlin, and Amsterdam. Akut has since pursued solo work, exhibiting in London, Paris, and Los Angeles. His focus on portrait exploration blends expressive photorealism with subtle graffiti roots, capturing individuals navigating existence in liminality.
