Biography

His style can best be described as Neo-expressionist (street) pop. His paintings are made with a great deal of energy and furious joy. But his style continues to change.
Inspired by the often mythical cult status of rock n roll icons from the 60s and 70s, he paints a story on the border of intuition and reason.
His personal expression of reality is a caricatural imagination. He accentuates the contours of figures in a subjective way and uses texts for the figurative purity. The diversity of his use of materials is unstructured; acrylic paint, oil paint, oil chalk, aerosol, yacht varnish, markers and ink are used in various combinations and sequences.
This use of materials, together with his primary way of painting, makes his paintings a raw, colorful experience for the viewer and they contain enough freedom for their own imagination.
