Yul Hanchas

Yul Hanchas is a contemporary artist working in pop art, expressionism, and abstraction. Born in 1971 in Kyiv, Ukraine, he grew up in a creative environment surrounded by the studios of his artist father. He pursued painting passionately, developing an original volumetric pop-art portrait technique that garnered widespread acclaim and commercial success.

Since 2011, Hanchas has lived and worked in Spain on the Costa del Sol. He works with acrylics, oils, texture paste, and mixed media, and is renowned for his expressive brushwork, vivid color contrasts, and signature textured (volumetric) style.

The artist maintains an active exhibition career in Spain—particularly along the Costa del Sol—having held dozens of solo and group shows in galleries, cultural centers, and art festivals. His works are held in numerous private collections across Spain, Europe, the United States, and worldwide.
