Manuel Valdés aka Manolo Valdès is a Spanish painter born in 1942. He lives and works in New York.

He is famous for having brought along his new and original artistic process, which combines political or social topics with humor and irony.

In 2012, Manolo Valdès was selected to create a poster for the bullfighting season for the Royal Cavalry in Seville, Spain.

Manolo Valdès's work was displayed during several Spanish and American exhibitions, the painter received many awards during his career throughout the world, going from Tokyo to Baghdad.
