Biography
Born in Bern in 1962, Peter Wüthrich has had numerous shows in Europe and the US in the last 15 years.
Peter Wüthrich makes art from books. The artist has researched thousands of permutations based on this object, communicating with us his imagined universe.
He chooses his metaphors carefully, with joyful freedom and almost childlike easyness. The book is cut, half open, deconstructed; event its contents are explored by the artist.
This game gives births to an aesthetic for which the book is the substance, the background and the language. His work is a contemporary tribute to books, surprising and poetic, today, in the golden age of Internet.
