Feliz Pelit is a Turkish painter, born in 1964. She studied drawing at the Buca teaching faculty, fine arts department. She lives and work in Izmir, Turkey.
Pelit's figurative work draws inspiration from myths, symbols, fables, fairy tales. In her last series, the artist depicts stories of dreamy children, eager to grow up.
Filiz Pelit's work has been exhibited several times in galleries. They are now part of private collections around the world: Russia, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, France, England, Dubai and Turkey. She was awarded several prizes, these include a silver medal at the National Fine Arts Fair in Paris.
