Greg Frederick

Greg Frederick is an internationally recognized mixed media visual artist whose Vinyl Pop Art has earned a place in prestigious collections and venues around the world. His work is held in the permanent collections of the Stax Museum of American Soul Music, Spotify's headquarters at 4 World Trade Center, and True Colors United, Cyndi Lauper's foundation to eradicate LGBTQ+ youth homelessness. His first museum showing, at the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art in 2011, placed his art alongside Andy Warhol and Diane Arbus.

In recent years, Greg's career has hit major milestones. He completed his first major international installation at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto—a permanent display honoring Canadian icons Neil Young, Avril Lavigne, and Shania Twain—unveiled as part of the venue's redesigned VIP suites. Soon after, he brought his work to Nashville, creating artwork at the Grand Ole Opry, exhibiting at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and contributing to the Music City Walk of Fame celebrations.

Greg's collectors include Stevie Nicks, Paul Rudd, Duff McKagan of Guns N' Roses, Craig Kallman, chairperson and CEO of Atlantic Records, and world-renowned DJs Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold, and Black Coffee. He has created custom commissions for stars such as Halsey, marking her debut performance at Madison Square Garden, and designed tour merchandise for Courtney Love. Hospitality clients include The Roxbury in Catskills, NY, and Signature Hotel in San Francisco, CA.

Working from his Brooklyn studio, Greg assembles each piece like a puzzle, layering fragments of vinyl, record sleeves, vintage magazines, cassette tapes, and other music relics to create warm, nostalgic, and vibrant tributes. Outside of his studio practice, you can catch him painting murals at Art Basel Miami and in Brooklyn, NY.
