Self-portraits: «geography of the intimate»
In this Geography of the intimate I wish to approach the body as a landscape, territory and place of construction of our history.
It began several years ago and is built over time as a tree in perpetual evolution. All the images created my self-portrait.
This corpus reads like a temporal tree, a portrait that is built over time. I decline the same images on different supports not dedicated to photography: plan, cards letters, echoing my story, my emotions.
The set forming strata, revealing my inner landscape and by extension complexity of beings, assemblage of their experiences.
By the fragmentation of it, I leave the possibility to each of the spectators to identify and to project its own history.
I propose a reading of the body as geological layers of memory and footprints emotional.

Presentation
At the same time as studying philosophy, she studied graphic techniques and photography in evening classes. The image becomes her medium and will never leave her. For ten years, she produced still lifes for major fashion houses and the press, then focused her work on know-how, transmission and, by extension, memory. The image is for her, trace, matter and language. In parallel with her commissions, she develops work as a visual artist using in particular polaroid and so-called old techniques such as cyanotype or platinium-palladium. The polaroid has accompanied his daily life as a photographer for twenty years, it is a space of freedom and experimentation whether in small format or in the camera. Her work has been exhibited regularly in Europe since 2010. She is represented in Paris by the Yellowcube Gallery, in Arles by the Galerie Iso, in Beirut by TheLTtgallery.
