Fanny Laffitte, through her watercolors, has succeeded in creating an unprecedented bridge, a timeless link, between mysterious feelings and a language palpable in the visible. For the figurative artist Fanny Laffitte, her iconography is inspired by another dimension, she feels it spontaneously within her and relays it, meanwhile in a meaningful and constructed way, in each of her works, this outside of any modality of automatic writing of a surreal nature. Fanny Laffitte's watercolors are pieces of life, plots of the universe, puzzles to be recomposed with pieces from here and beyond.
